Rainbow Kindergarten started its journey on 01 January 2014 with an aim to provide elementary education among the toddlers, mainly for the children of Armed Forces personnel. This school is run under supervision of Army Headquarters Movement & Quartering Directorate, where the Quarter Master General is the Chief Patran & DMQ is the Chairman. Mrs. Rehana Parveen joined this noble initiative as the Founder Principal of RBK.  In first year i.e. 2014, the school operated three section each in PG and Nursery class and one section KG class where total number of students were 152. In 2015, with the vertical expansion, this school has increased its number of sections upto 10 with total students of 245.

This school is affiliated with Bangladesh International School College (BISC). All student of RBK after completion of KG class will be re-admission to BISC. Their admission start will be re-admission.
